‘Radjamerci van de Vlasbloemhoeve’ and James Wilson win the eight year old class

‘Comme Chez Soi V Ijzervallei Z’ with Chloe Stampaert and ‘Emeralds F1’ with Jesús Torres García are the winners of the seven year old classes

Once again the Young Horses took to the arenas here today for an intense day of jumping. This was their second chance to add a clear round to their individual tally. This will count towards qualification for the Finals in week three on the 19th and the 20th of March here at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour, which is kindly sponsored by the Junta de Andalucía, through the Consejería de Turismo and  Andalucía Exterior, and also the Diputación provincial de Cádiz.

 

In the eight year old 1.40 class it was the mare ‘Radjamerci Van De Vlasbloemhoeve’ who is by ‘Dieu-Merci van T&L’, dam sire ‘Wandor van de Mispelaere’ and who took the top spot on the podium in this speed class in just 63.34s with the British rider, James Wilson steering her to victory. Second was ‘Assie Mie Nou Z’ (‘Aganix du Seigneur’ x ‘Oklund’) with the Dutch Siebe Leemans in the saddle and finishing in 67.28s. ‘Chacoons Bellis Z’ (‘Chacoon Blue’ x ‘Balou du Rouet’) was third with Bruce Goodin from New Zealand followed by ‘Ransome 111’ (‘El Barone 111 Z’ x ‘Der Senaat 111’) with Felipe Amaral from Brazil. In fifth was ‘Millstreet Van de Kruishorst’ (‘Cardento 933’ x ‘Pacific’) with Irish rider, Conor Drain.

 

‘Comme Chez Soi V Ijzervallei Z’ (‘Comme Il Faut 5’ x ‘Chellano’) with Belgian, Chloe Stampaert was the winner of the first seven year old class. In second was ‘Diagolda PS’ (‘Diaron’ x ‘Kannan’) with Izabella Rogers from Great Britain; third was ‘Invictrix Bois Chenu’ (‘Action Breaker’ x ‘Fetiche du Pas’) with Belgian rider, Antoni Draga; fourth and fifth went to British combinations, ‘Pria Blue PS’ (‘Presley Boy’ x ‘Chacco Blue’) with Laura Mantel followed by ‘Wild One HF’ with Emily Ward.

 

In the second seven year old class the winner was a Spanish Sporthorse ‘Emeralds F1’ (‘Emerald’ x ‘Indoctro’) with local rider, Jesús Torres García. In second was ‘Nau – N’ (‘Grand Slam’) with Hugo Carvalho from Portugal; third was ‘My Girl Jt Z’ (‘Malito de Reve’ x ‘Zandor’) with Belgian rider, Chloe Stampaert; fourth was ‘Leestone Nicolas’ (H&M Chilli Willi’ x ‘Heartbreaker’) with British, Jude Burgess and fifth was also a British combination of ‘N my Lady Ex’ ridden by Rebecca Marsh.

 

‘Cean’, who is by ‘Ghost Z’ x ‘Berlin’, was the winner of the first six year old class, a 2Ph Sp, with the Dutch rider, Daan Adams. ‘Mr Co-K Van Kattenheye Z’ (‘Mr Uno-K Van’t Katthenheye’ x ‘Cascadello’) was second with British rider, Megan Broadway; third was ‘Z7 Queen B’ with British, Simon Crippen; fourth was ‘Lou Van Het Eikenhof Z’ (‘Luigi D’Eclipse’) with Cassandre Malherbe from Belgium and in fifth was ‘SLH Fantastico’ (‘Fantaland’ x ‘Landeur’) with British rider, Ronnie Jones.

 

In the other class the winner was ‘Oslo HX’ with British, Carl Edwards; ‘second was Athena Hero Z’ (‘Agana van het Gerendal Z’) with Dutch, Jil Verheij; third was ‘Jaguar de Perhet’ with Spanish rider, José Fumero Hernández; fourth was ‘Merllyns Greenside Matrix’ with Iwan Carpenter from Great Britain and finally, in fifth, was ‘Nemeralda d’Ayrifagne’ with Belgian rider, Filip Lacus.

 

In the first five year old class the winner was ‘Bella Ciao MKM Z’ (‘Bamako de Muze’) with Cassandre Malherbe continuing the great form she has had since the start of the Tour with her youngsters. Second was ‘Ghazi Van’t Ijsselstein Z’ with Dutch rider, Luciano Zandvliet; third was ‘Arya’ with British rider, Ben Walker; fourth was ‘Liliana’ with another British rider, Ellie Townend and in fifth was ‘Quiron del Amor’ with Spanish, Alejandro Fernández Sánchez.

 

The winner in the second class was ‘Take on me 3’ (‘Taloubet Z’ x ‘Sir Shutterfly) with Swedish rider, Lina Renström. There were two Spanish combinations next, ‘Chevere de Capellan’ with Santiago Núñez Riva followed by ‘Mylord des Desig Z’ ridden by Ángel Cerdido Calderón; in fourth was ‘Coolest Choice’ with Jennifer Pedersen from Denmark and in fifth was ‘Coona Blue PS’with another Spanish rider, Mickey Seaquist.

 

Tomorrow the Young Horse classes continue and the fourth CSI4* starts up for a very busy day of jumping here at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour.
